Last month, the TAC L2P program commemorated a significant milestone of reaching 1 million drive hours!

With over 50 TAC L2P programs in operation throughout Victoria, Alexandra Community Hub takes pride in being a part of this accomplishment.

The Murrindindi TAC L2P program, which has been active since 2009, has contributed over 4,400 drive hours to assist eligible learner drivers in obtaining their probationary license. From this effort, 85 local learners have not only successfully acquired their probationary licence but have also gained the knowledge and skills to become responsible and safe drivers on our roads

We extend our gratitude to our current TAC L2P program volunteer mentors, namely David Hill, Judy Blizzard, Scott Kerr, Philip Stevenson, Michael Purcell, Steven Brecely, and Christian Neesham. Additionally, we would like to recognise our former mentors who have recently transitioned, including John Herridge, Stephan Wright, Barbara Skerritt, Tama Greenway, Anita Carr and Ross Thompson.

We deeply appreciate the dedication and support of our volunteer hub heroes.
Their compassionate assistance, inspiring stories, flexibility, and commitment to listening and understanding the needs of others are invaluable.

We thank them for their passion in guiding and mentoring young individuals in our community to become safe drivers and for ensuring the continuity of this program in the Murrindindi Shire.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer TAC L2P program mentor, we would love to hear from you.
