In a tourist area we have many cafes and pubs, so our most popular courses are our hospitality ones. Alexandra Community Hub runs these courses every term due to popularity - (this is only a taster and not a qualification)
- Barista Course - Steve and Lucy Collins form 'Roaming Poppy" offer a four hour Barista course at their home for participants wishing to update their skills for work or their resume
- Our next barista course is Monday 29th July 5:30 - 9pm
- Cost is $90 pp
- RSA - Our qualified RSA trainer provides participants with a 4 hour session on a weekend to teach them all the relevant documentation needed to safely serve alcohol in a place of employment.

- This certificate last for 3 years and is a nationally recognised training certificate
- Introduction to Food Handling and Hygienic Practices (SITFXA001) -
- Our trainer Karen Stephens, provides learners with the entry level qualifications needed when working with food. Whether it be for employment in a cafe or pub, market stalls, school events etc. This course will teach you how to handle food safety in the kitchen and workplace. This is also a recognised training certificate

- Food Safety Supervisors Certificate (SITXFSA002) -
- Our food trainer Karen Stephens will provide learners with the required qualification to supervise employees in the workplace. This course will teach you how to manage and supervise a kitchen and fulfill the legislative requirements for a business.
