$350.00

Description

This course provides learners with basic woodworking techniques, correct use of caprentry tools and power tools, simple project construction and OH&S. This course can also lead to pre-apprenticeships in the Building and Construction industry or paid employment.

Currently our students are working on improving our back sheds behind Alex Community Hub. They are plastering them up, putting outside cladding on, setting up new parking posts and creating a proper pathway. This shed will then be used for our Emergency Relief Project.

This course is also part of the Certificate II in Adult Education Work Trax course and Supervised by a Swinburne Qualified Trainer and the use of the Swinburne Trade Trailer.

This course runs for approximately 6-8 weeks, with each session 3-4 hours (per week).
